About the Challenge

Student online questions competition - the "Big Questions Challenge" (BQC) - will accompany the Sustainability Summit held at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 23 October 2014. International speakers and Hong Kong policy experts will be invited to CityU to discuss the sustainability challenges faced by Hong Kong and the East Asia region. Imagine sharing a taxi ride with one of them and having a chance to ask them a question. What question will you ask? The BQC is an online platform that enables CityU and secondary school students in HK to have a chance to attend at the Sustainability Summit.

Students are encouraged to post sustainability-related questions through the BQC online discussion board, and explain to us why their questions are important. The most thought-provoking questions will be chosen by a panel of judges. There questions will be sent to Summit speakers prior to the Summit to inform the Summit discussion. All awardees are invited to attend the Summit to participate in the discussion.
