WORKSHOP INFORMATION

The workshop will be held in The Tide Resort,
Ampur Mueng, Cholburi (near Bangkok city), Thailand, December 9-12, 2013. The objective of this annual series of workshops is to enhance the dialogue between theoretical physicists and chemists. The workshop this year will focus on “Biological Modeling and Simulation” and related topics. During the four-day workshop, there will be

  • 2 plenary talks (50min each),

  • 20 invited talks (30min each, by invitation, faculty members only),

  • 10 contributed talks (20min each, by application and nomination, for young faculty members only), and

  • an unlimited number of laptop or conventional poster presentations (by application and nomination).

We expect that these presentations would cover the main development in the field happened in the past a few years. There will be also a short course on Density Functional Tight Binding (DFTB) method offered during the workshop period.
