Special Announcement – CityU Sports Facilities

Dear CityU Sports Centre Users, 

Due to the collapse of the roof top at Chan Tai Ho Multi-Purpose Hall, please note the following announcements:

1.    The Hu Fa Kuang Sports Centre and the Swimming Pool will be closed until further notice.

2.    Regarding the use of the Joint Sports Centre sports facilities, from 30 May 2016 (Mon), users can make booking up to 7 days in advance at the Joint Sports Centre Service Counter. For more information, please refer to the JSC website at http://jsc.hkbu.edu.hk/ or call the Joint Sports Centre Service Counter at 27941168.

3.    The Refund Procedures for the concerned users would be announced in due course:

a)      Sports Centre Users who have made confirmed booking(s) at the Hu Fa Kuang Sports Centre in between 2:00 p.m. on 20^th May 2016 through 27^th May 2016, please keep the booking permit for refunding purpose.

b)     Refund will be made for the following Card Holders:

                 i.           Physical Fitness Room Annual Pass
     ii.           Swimming Pool Annual Pass / Seasonal Pass
    iii.           Sports Complex User Card

c)      Refund will be made to the following group bookings:

                 i.           Student or Sports Societies
     ii.           Staff Association
    iii.           Academic/Administrative Departments
    iv.           External organizations

4.    Any personal belongings at the lockers of the Sports Centre will be on hold until further notice.
