Alumni rejoiced at alumni reunion in Suzhou
Organised by the Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies and supported by the Alumni Relations Office, an alumni reunion was conducted on the evening of 5 June 2015 in Suzhou. University representatives joining the event included Professor Lu Jian, Vice-President (Research and Technology) and Dean (Graduate Studies), Professor Horace Ip, Vice-President (Student Affairs), Professor Matthew Lee, Vice-President (Development and External Relations), Professor Paul Lam, Chief-of-Staff, Professor Hui Yer Van, Associate Dean (School of Graduate Studies), Ms Millie Mark, Director (Graduate Studies Administration), Ms Pheony Tsang, Alumni Relations Manager of Alumni Relations Office, etc. Alumni were delighted to get University updates and network with alumni fellows. They looked forward to a continual alumni connection in the future. The Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies also organised the “9th PhD Student Workshop 2015 (Suzhou) cum 10th Anniversary of USTC-CityU Joint PhD Collaboration Scheme” [第九届博士生学术论坛暨中科大－香港城大联合培养博士生项目十周年] from 6 – 7 June 2015 at USTC-CityU Joint Advanced Research Centre (Suzhou), China.
