Course Registration Arrangements for Students Enrolled in the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) Programme

  • Prior to the start of each semester/term, BVM students will be pre-registered with all the courses that they are required to take in that semester/term. In case course add/drop is required, students should approach the College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences.

 

Course Registration for Semester A 2017/18

  • For courses which are web-enabled, add/drops can be performed during the web registration period 21 August - 11 September 2017. Students will have 3 periods to add/drop courses for Semester A 2017/18 as follows:

    For Bachelor's and Associate Degree Students of CityU
    Web Registration Period Courses that Students Can Add/Drop
    Gateway Education (GE) Courses
    GE1501 Chinese Civilisation &
    GE Courses in Areas 1 – 3
    Non-GE Courses
    First Period:
    21 - 22 August 2017
    Second Period:
    23 - 24 August 2017
    (5 Time Slots)

    Each student can register for GE1501 and
    a limited no. of GE courses in Areas 1 – 3
    Third Period:
    25 August - 11 September 2017
     

    Students may add additional GE courses if seats are available

    For Associate Degree Students of CCCU
    Web Registration Period Courses that Students Can Add/Drop
    CCCU General Education (CGE) Courses Non-CGE Courses
    First Period:
    28 August 2017
    Second Period:
    29 August 2017
    (3 Time Slots)

    Students will be assigned to different time slots according to their year of study
    Third Period:
    30 August - 11 September 2017

     
  • Registration time tickets are assigned to space out the students so that they will not all be logging onto the web at the same time for web registration. Students can check their personal registration time tickets in AIMS for the assigned start/end time of web registration for the three periods from 7 August 2017.
     
  • For enquiries concerning add/drop of courses, students can call the Course Registration Enquiry Hotline 3442 2260 during the following time periods:
    21, 22 & 28 August 2017
    9:00 am to 1:30 pm &
    2:00 pm to 6:30 pm
    23 - 25 & 29 - 30 August 2017 9:00 am to 1:00 pm &
    2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
    For course registration enquiries on other working days or other enquires about student record matters, students may call our general enquiry hotline 3442 2300 during office hours.
     
  • For courses which are not web-enabled, students can make use of the "Print Add/Drop Form" function available in AIMS from 7 August 2017 to submit change requests to the course-offering academic unit for approval.
     
  • The deadline for all add/drops is 11 September 2017, 11:30 pm.
     
  • As some classes will be held in the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre (building "CMC" in the Class Schedule) on Cornwall Street, students are advised to take into consideration the travelling time between different buildings when making any changes to the class schedule.
