Termination (for Regular Term Assignment)

  1. Students shall always focus on their study as their priority. The job assignments under the CWS are subject to their attainment of a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 or above, and shall be terminated if such requirement is not met.
  2. A job assignment may be terminated at any time by the University without cause assigned. In case there is a need for the University to release a student from a job assignment, the University will endeavour to give as much advance notice as possible.
  3. In case of misconduct displayed by a student, the appointment may be terminated without notice. Termination in this sense is allowed for poor work performance or unsatisfactory work attendance as well as for clearly improper conduct (i.e. theft, physical abuse of others, falsification of records, etc.).
  4. Career and Leadership will provide counselling support to terminated students if necessary.
