Mission

The mission of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS) is to contribute to social development, good governance and quality of life in HKSAR and the region. CHASS also contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of professional excellence in the humanities and social sciences through teaching, research and applied work. CHASS provides high quality professional education to meet employer, student and community needs in a globalized workplace and undertakes cutting-edge research which is relevant to the needs of society.
