Remarks:

1. According to University Senate policy made on 25 October 2005 (Senate/48/A5R), "Courses taken as part of the Foundation Year will be counted in the calculation of the CGPA for the bachelor's degree award." (paragraph 7 of the Senate paper).

2. Starting from the 2009/10 admission cohort, FY students with a GPA of 3.3 or above in Semester A are allowed to take extra three credits in Semester B by selecting an elective course within this curriculum or alternatively taking a General Education course on offer by the University.
