Outcomes Based Teaching and Learning

The University launched an Outcomes Based Teaching and Learning (OBTL) project in 2005. OBTL shifts the emphasis from a teacher-centre to a student-centre approach to teaching and learning. With a clear identification of learning outcomes, the shift in approach will facilitate and strengthen the alignment between teaching and assessment activities, and outcomes. The project will encompass all programmes in the University.
