Transition to 4-Year Normative Degree

The 3+3+4 academic reform is changing the educational landscape of Hong Kong. To meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world with rising complexity, the University considers it vital to design a 4-year degree curriculum that is flexible enough to provide students with a board-based, enhanced and integrated learning experience. The curriculum framework will allow students to gain in-depth knowledge through major studies, plus the option to take minor or electives as complement. In addition, students will be able to enrich their educational experiences and complement their core professional competence by taking a well-structured suite of General Education courses. Besides the formal curriculum, the University is also committed to increasing students’ engagement beyond the classroom through a wide range of co-curricular activities.
