Teaching Innovation Award
  • The Teaching Innovation Award of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) was established to recognise excellent teaching which demonstrates innovative, effective and well-implemented instructional pedagogies and approaches, and the embodiment of the Discovery-Enriched Curriculum (DEC).
  • All full-time faculty, academic and teaching staff of the College, with at least one year’s accumulated full-time teaching experience at the College at the time of the submission deadline, are eligible for the Award. The recipients of Teaching Innovation Award for the recent two years are not eligible for the Award.

Teaching Award
  • The Teaching Award of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) is established to recognise good teaching practices of research degree students and foster their professional development to prepare them for their future career.
  • All current full-time research degree students of the College, who have been or are assigned with one or more of the following duties, are eligible for the Award:
    • Involved in the teaching of Gateway Education (GE) courses;
    • Involved in any other teaching-related duties or teaching duties that could demonstrate effectiveness of teaching;
    • Involved or participated in the design of Discovery-enriched Curriculum (DEC) activities
    under the coordination and supervision of related course leader(s).
