香港城市大學中文及歷史學系四年級學生羅啓盈、專業中文副修同學錢安琪、 馮倩婷及嚴映婷合力製作的投稿作品〈陪伴〉，被香港廣告商會評為2017香港廣告商會學生大獎銀獎。
香港廣告商會學生大獎是自1990年起，香港廣告商會每年舉辦的公開比賽，目的在於鼓勵和培養年輕人及本地人才，發揮潛能和創意，為香港的廣告界注入新的思維和元素，提高香港廣告標準。
四位修讀廣告中文學科的同學，在導師郭錦鴻的指導和協助下，把作業塑造成比賽作品，以寫實為製作風格，加入「矛盾」、「衝突」於情節構思，並運用首尾呼應等技巧，完成甚具啟發性的作品〈陪伴〉，並投稿參加今年以「適量用手機」為主題的香港廣告商會學生大獎。在芸芸超過200隊大專賽隊中，脫穎而出，勇奪銀獎。
2017年11月24日晚上，金帆獎頒獎典禮於香港灣仔會議展覽中心隆重舉行。在特區政府商務及經濟發展局局長邱騰華, GBS, JP致勉辭後，四位同學懷着興奮的心情上台領獎。為此，我們祝賀同學們，並盼望他們未來能繼續發揮創意，學以致用，貢獻社會。

Four students from CityU’s Department of Chinese and History (CAH) have been awarded a Silver HK4As Students’ Award by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong. LAW Kai-ying, a Year 4 student majoring in Chinese, produced the entry entitled Be with You ＜陪伴＞together with three other students in CAH’s Minor in Chinese for Professional Purposes programme: CHIN On-ki, FUNG Sin-ting and YIM Ying-ting. Under the guidance and coaching of Mr KWOK Kam-hung, the teacher of the CAH course “Chinese for Advertising”, the four winners converted their assignment into an entry for the competition. Using a realistic style, the video incorporates elements of contradiction and conflict into its plot and adopts a structure in which the ending echoes the beginning. The resulting video is inspiring and fits well with this year’s theme of “Moderate Use of Mobile Phones”. It beat more than 200 other videos to win the Silver Award.
Since 1990, the aim of the HK4As Students’ Award has been to encourage and develop young local talent as a part of HK4As’ education initiatives. The presentation of the award has been incorporated into HK4As’ Kam Fan Awards so that aspiring students can feel the excitement of the local advertising industry.
This year’s Kam Fan Awards Presentation Gala was held on 24 November 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai with Mr YAU Tang-wah Edward GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, as the guest of honour. Congratulations to the winning students, and we hope to see them continue in their pursuits of creativity and further contribute to society in their future endeavours!
