The CLASS internationalisation team organised a Welcoming Session for the College’s new inbound exchange students on 26 August 2016.

In Semester A 2016-17, 165 exchange students from 84 universities in 21 different countries/regions joined CLASS for semester-long or year-long exchange studies through the institutional, college or departmental-level student exchange programmes.

The Welcoming Session familiarised the newcomers with the College and its seven departments, and introduced them to the CLASS Buddies Club. The Club was established in September 2007 to promote interactions between local and international exchange students. Representatives of the Club announced at the Welcoming Session that two exciting excursions will be organised for the newcomers to find out more about Hong Kong and its culture. The enthusiastic students filled the available places immediately!

The College wishes all exchange students a joyful and fruitful stay at CityU and in Hong Kong!
