The Greater Bay Area - Leveraging opportunities for Hong Kong in the transition towards sustainability

CSHK is Supporting Organization for "Business Environment Council 商界環保協會 EnviroSeries Conference 2018 - The Greater Bay Area - Leveraging opportunities for Hong Kong in the transposition towards sustainability" on May 23 at The Mira Hong Kong. It will explore about the opportunities for Hong Kong business to benefit from the development of a greener thriving Greater Bay Area (GBA) initiative.

Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam highlighted in the policy address that the HKSAR Government will actively participate in taking forward the development of the Bay Area to create favourable conditions for diversifying our industries, assist Hong Kong people & enterprises to discover new opportunities, enabling us to capitalise on the unique advantages of Hong Kong in the Bay Area. Through its 13th 5-year action plan, China has also committed to take steps to clean up the environment and promote an "ecological civilisation". In this BEC EnviroSeries Conference, we will explore how Hong Kong can benefit from the Greater Bay Area initiative:

－ Can Hong Kong's environmental professionals play a leading role to contribute to a greener GBA?
－ Which sectors (e.g. waste management, transportation & logistics, energy management) can benefit most from collaboration across the GBA to reduce environmental impact and to enhance liveability?
