I've identified pronunciation as one of the skills of English that I need to improve.
I have been studying English for years including doing lots of grammar exercises and
reading lots of books to help improve my vocabulary but I haven't really done any formal work on my pronunciation.
I think pronunciation is important because if you mispronounce a word people can misunderstand you.
I think poor pronunciation is worse that poor grammar too. I know there are lots of different aspects to pronunciation
and I am looking forward to learning more about them in the workshop held by the ELC!

regard to writing job application letters. It also familiarises
you with the format of job application letters and will cover how
to write effective job application letters. You will also receive
information on resources available on-line and in the SAC.

2. to become familiar with the structure and style of job application letters.
3. to learn how to write effective job application letters.
4. to identify suitable resources and plan to work on your job application letter independently.
Special Requirement for this workshop
You MUST write a letter in response to one of the advertisement. Feedback will be given to you in the workshop, regarding structure, style and format.
