Students can learn the concepts and principles of the following topics in physics: Newton’s Laws of motion, energy and power, gravity, electricity, magnetism, atoms, nuclear radiation, light, waves, quantum physics, sound. The concepts and principles can be used to understand many everyday physics phenomena and technology, such as the mechanism of nuclear power and how information is transmitted by mobile phone. There will be lectures and some discussion sessions in the course.  In the discussion sessions, students can practice how to use the concepts and principles.
