This course aims to expose students to the different uses of computing for the benefit of society and business. Computing technology changed the way we live and work over the years. The course highlights the evolution of computing and information technology in addressing the needs of society and business. Through detailed case studies, it will be shown how simple ideas and real needs can inspire innovation and creativity to produce solutions that have a high impact on society and the world.
