Green Roof Over Walls

Green Roof Over Walls (GROW permaculture project)

GROW is a cross-disciplinary project which will introduce Permaculture to CityU, including the development of green zones on rooftops and related GE courses. Phase I of this project covers converting a section of the ornamental garden on the roof of Academic 2 to a pilot permaculture site.

Merging various disciplines and modalities, Permaculture develops sustainable forms of human communities by following models of naturally occurring ecosystems. Equal emphasis is given to the integration of ethical principles and sustainable design.
