Carbon Reduction Implementation & Assessment Strategy for Hong Kong (CRiAS)
On 14th August 2014, investigators Dr Maria Francesch (PI) and Dr SK Tang (Co-I) of AECOM launched the Carbon Reduction Implementation and Assessment Strategy for Hong Kong (CRiAS). 90 environmental professionals, scholars and advocates attended the event.
CRiAS analyses policy targets and measures for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the building, land transportation, and energy sectors in Hong Kong, and proposes an integrated strategy through which the implementation of such targets and measures can be achieved.
The workshop was co-organised by CityU Green Connections, the Department of Public Policy (POL) at CityU; AECOM, a global provider of architecture, design, engineering and construction services; and the Environmental Management Association of Hong Kong.
