Tour to Zero Carbon Building (ZCB)

On 5 Oct 2014, CityU Green Connections organised a tour to Zero Carbon Building, over 200 students from GE 1343 & GE 2303 participated in the event.

This building showcases the state-of-the art eco-building design and technologies to the construction industry locally and internationally, it generates on-site renewable energy from photovoltaic panels and a tri-generation system using biofuel made of waste cooking oil and achieves zero net carbon emissions on an annual basis. This activity has raised students' awareness of low carbon living in Hong Kong.
