Research Assistant in the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. A/R/855/03]


Project

Longitudinal Discovery-Enriched Curriculum (DEC) Studies for the Bachelor Programme in Civil and Structural Engineering


Duties

The appointee will assist in educational research on the Discovery-Enriched Curriculum (DEC) of the Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.  This is a longitudinal study which spans over three years for the same cohort of students.  The candidate should be able to conduct educational research independently, which includes design of data collection methods; collecting useful data from academic staff and students; data analysis; and manuscript and report writing.


Requirements

A good honours degree with excellent analytical and English writing skills.

Salary and Conditions of Service
