To spearhead knowledge transfer development, the Knowledge Transfer Committee was formed to assist the Vice-President (Research and Technology) to formulate institutional policies and strategies to promote and facilitate knowledge transfer activities across all disciplines. Through knowledge transfer, CityU ensures that knowledge, including technology, know-how, expertise and skills, are transmitted to society, and the outcomes, commercially or non-commercially oriented, are expected to enhance the community’s social or economic well being.

• Technology licensing
• Coordination of knowledge transfer activities conducted by CityU stakeholders
• Intellectual property protection and management
