The Admissions Office (ADMO), the Faculty of Business (FB) and the School of Graduate Studies joined hands to participate in the ninth China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), from 21 February to 3 March, in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xiamen. The Tour has successfully fulfilled its mission of broadening the University's student recruitment base and developing long-term networks in the mainland.

A select group of 107 form seven students recently had their very first taste of university life thanks to the Business Leadership Camp organized by the Faculty of Business. The camp was held 27 and 28 June, one week before the release of Hong Kong's Advanced Level Examination results. Two City University students have a one-week study tour at the University of Washington to look forward to this summer, thanks to a winning business plan. Ms Rachel Lui and Mr Matthew Chang, students from the Faculty of Business and Faculty of Science and Engineering, respectively, won the Gold Award in the Third HSBC Young IT Entrepreneur Awards on 27 March.

Two groups of City University Faculty of Business students outperformed more than 160 teams to win the Outstanding Project Award in the Corporate Governance for the New Generation Study Programme cum Youth Summit organized by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
A group of 54 Shanghainese students in City University's Master of Business Administration programme, offered in collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, were praised for their consultancy work for two local companies during their first Residential Trip to Hong Kong between 9 and 22 February.
