Effective and efficient communication is critically important to university life. At CityU, we put particular emphasis on communication and information dissemination via the electronic medium. An extensive electronic infrastructure, the Portal, is the gateway that leads you to the cyberworld of CityU and provides you with all kinds of information related to your study and your life at CityU.
You are given your Electronic ID (EID) to log on the Portal. If you have not activated your EID before, you MUST activate your EID which is part of Pre-enrolment exercise. If you do not activate your EID, you will not be able to access any online services at CityU.
If you have activated your EID before, but forgotten entirely your EID, you have to go to IT Service Desk (located on Floor 4, Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin Academic Building) in person to get your EID.
