Exchange students from around the world participated in “The World’s Local Festival” organised by the College of Business of City University of Hong Kong (CityU). Together with local and mainland students, they celebrated festivals from different countries, such as Korean New Year, Feria de Abril (Spring Fair) in Spain, Midsummer Celebration in Norway and Queen’s Day in the Netherlands.

“The World’s Local Festival” includes cultural performances, specially decorated booths showcasing traditional festivals and snacks from Canada, Austria, the Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, US, South Korea, Spain, France, New Zealand, Sweden and mainland China. CityU strives to promote internationalisation and create a multi-disciplinary learning environment, and the festival allows CityU students to experience the cultural diversity of the world.
