Biography

Professor Wang Xunli applies neutron scattering to tackle challenging scientific issues in phase transformation and deformation. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) and the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences (AAAS). He has published broadly in high-impact journals, including Science, Nature Materials and Physical Review Letters. The American Welding Society awarded him the A. F. Davis Silver Medal for his early work on welding residual stress.
