Continuing the tradition
set forth by the previous Pacific Rim Conferences, this conference is intended
to be a high-profile mathematical event.
The objectives of the
Conference are to present the latest trends in mathematical research to a wide audience and to develop stronger ties between mathematicians in the
Pacific Rim region.
The Conference, which is
open to all areas of mathematics, will have eight Focus Sessions. Each
Focus Session will include a Plenary Speaker and several Invited Speakers.
In addition,
seven Plenary Speakers will give talks to celebrate the Tenth
Anniversary of the Liu Bie Ju Centre for Mathematical Sciences, City
University of Hong Kong.

From the Harbour Plaza Metropolis to City University of Hong Kong
City University of Hong Kong is located at Kowloon Tong on the Kowloon peninsula. The University is close to the Kowloon Tong Station, which connects the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) and the Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR).
The Harbour Plaza Metropolis is located opposite to the Hung Hom Station of KCR.
By KCR
It takes two stops from the Hung Hom Station to the Kowloon Tong Station (in the direction of Lo Wu), where signs direct pedestrians to City University of Hong Kong via the Festival Walk shopping mall. The University link tunnel is located on the Level LG1 of the Festival Walk and takes you directly to the campus.
By taxi
It costs around HK$50 for a taxi ride from the Hung Hom Station to City University of Hong Kong.
