Prof. Xue Wang won the Award of Future Chemical Engineering Scholar (2023)

At the 15th Global Chinese Chemical Engineering Symposium held last week in Hong Kong, Prof. Xue Wang, Assistant Professor, School of Energy and Environment, won the Award of Future Chemical Engineering Scholar (2023).

Global Chinese Chemical Engineering Symposium (GCCES) is a premier and world-wide academic exchange platform for Chinese chemical engineers and scientists interested in innovation and professional development to gather, exchange ideas and make friends. The first session of the GCCES conference was held in Great Falls, Canada in 2009. Since then, it has been successfully held for 14 consecutive years using the mode of rotation in China and abroad.

The award of Future Chemical Engineering Scholar is a recognition of junior Chinese faculty members who majored in the chemical engineering discipline globally. The award assessment includes competition and peer review. Prof. Wang is one of the three winners from overseas. In total, there are 8 Chinese chemical engineers received this award in 2023.
