Visit to Hong Kong Organic Waste Recycling Centre (HKOWRC) on 4 November 2014

Students taking the Gateway Education course, GE1337 Urban Green City: Pollution and Solution, offered by the School participated in the visit to the Hong Kong Organic Waste Recycling Centre (HKOWRC) on 4 November 2014 (Tuesday).

On the day, the guide of HKOWRC brought the participants a fruitful visit at the Food Education Centre covering the talk addressing the problems caused by food waste, the tour on the food waste processing facilities plus the green facilities and planting equipment.
