Visit to Shatin Sewage Treatment Works on 28 October 2014 (Tue)
In order to enhance the understanding of the sewage treatment facilities in Hong Kong, a group of MSc Energy and Environment students and research degree students taking the course, SEE6213/SEE8221 Wastewater Engineering and Water Quality Assessment, from the School of Energy and Environment visited the Shatin Sewage Treatment Works on 28 October 2014 (Tuesday). During the visit, students are inspired by the introduction of the sewage treatment process and storm water drainage services in Hong Kong. The visit strongly enhanced the students' knowledge on wastewater engineering and understanding of the importance of water quality in Hong Kong.
