Mandatory ESG reporting requirements of HKEX have generated a massive demand for talent with knowledge of sustainability, and this has opened a lot of new employment opportunities for SEE alumni. While most of you may think ESG jobs are related to finance, organizations also need professionals with a background in science and engineering.

To help you take advantage of this boom in Hong Kong, SEE is hosting an event titled “Careers in ESG for Engineers” to introduce to you the field of ESG for non-finance professionals. SEE, in collaboration with the CFA Institute, would like to invite you to join an informational dinner where you will have an opportunity to learn about ESG-related careers. The speakers from CFA institute will introduce you to their Certificate in ESG Investing and how you can get one. Also, you will have an opportunity to network with our speakers, faculty, and the larger alumni community at the event.

Note:

• The event is capped at 40 alumni, and registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.
• Starting from 26 September 2022, all people wishing to enter campus, including students, staff, alumni, contractors and visitors are required to have received at least three doses of COVID-19 vaccines, or have one dose of vaccine within the last 6 months.
