Abstract

Energy plays an important role in every aspect of our lives, at the individual, national, regional and global level. From the recent Ukraine crisis and OPEC responses to COP27, it underscores how geopolitical factors, international relations and industry cooperation could influence resource allocation and impact energy security. Energy has always been central to public policy and research of different countries. Through this Dialogue with Professionals, we will explore fundamental concepts of policymaking and how it is applied to the energy and environmental domain. The speaker will also share her experiences as a policy researcher and explain some of the megatrends in the field.
