Abstract

Are you students who are unsure about what you want to do in the future? While we are constantly in the process of finding our career path, listening to others' stories can be helpful. In this sharing session, Sam will share his career journey as an environmental engineer in a building contractor, an engineering consultant, and the government. He will also share his experience getting through the HKIE Scheme "A" training and Professional Assessment. The aim of this sharing is to provide students with more information about career options and assist them in setting their career goals.

About the Speaker

Sam graduated from SEE in 2017, majoring in Energy Science and Engineering. He is currently an Engineer in Mott MacDonald Hong Kong Limited, delivering different river revitalisation projects in various locations in Hong Kong. Before that, he worked in a building contractor, Sanfield (Management) Limited and completed his HKIE Scheme "A" training program (Environmental discipline) in the Environmental Protection Department, Government of HKSAR. He has worked in wide variety of projects, including the Sludge Treatment facilities, Integrated Waste Management Facilities, Enhancement of Lam Tsuen River and Shek Sheung River etc.
