Ms. Holly So will share insights into her experience working in the ESG and Sustainable Investing space over the past 6 years. She will talk through her career journey, highlighting her work with various companies carrying out work with different ESG remits. She will offer tips and advice on pursuing a career in ESG and sustainable investing in Hong Kong.
Ms. Holly So is Sustainability Strategist with Allianz Global Investors, based in Hong Kong. She drives the firm’s sustainability strategy, sustainable product development and leads its sustainability advisory and advocacy in Asia Pacific.
Before joining AllianzGI in 2023, Holly worked at Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) as an ESG Specialist, spearheading the firm’s ESG initiatives, as well as overseeing the ESG integration process and stewardship activities at the firm. Before that, she was senior associate in the Climate & Sustainability Team for PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong/China.
Holly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom, and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She has also obtained CFA’s Investment Management Certificate.
