Dr. Xueji SU is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong. She specialized in international economic law, multilateral institutions, Chinese law, European Union law and interdisciplinary studies of law and global governance. Dr. Xueji SU researches and writes on the complex regulation of state-owned enterprises, EU-China economic relations, and international dispute settlement (including WTO litigation and international arbitration). Her academic writings have appeared in leading peer-reviewed international legal journals, including Journal of World Trade (JWT), Journal of World Investment & Trade (JWIT), Legal Issues of Economic Integration (LIEI), Asia Pacific Law Review (APLR). She was a recipient of the CUHK Outreach Award 2022, Max Plank Luxembourg Scholarship 2022, and was honoured by the IEEM Academic Prize for Outstanding Graduates in European Union Law in 2017.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from the University of Macau (UMAC), and a doctorate in law (PhD) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Dr. Xueji SU also is licensed lawyer in mainland China. Dr. Xueji SU has served as visiting fellow/researcher at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law, European University Institute (EUI), and the Macao Economic & Trade Office to the European Union (EU).
