International Students

The School of Law of City University of Hong Kong welcomes international/non-local students from all over the world.  The Global Services Office (GSO) is dedicated to providing assistance and support to international/non-local students. Their services for international/non-local students include:

  • providing pre-arrival information and coordination
  • assisting with visa application, insurance and related matters
  • organising orientation programmes and providing on-arrival assistance
  • providing pastoral care and giving advice on non-academic matters
  • offering information on the range of support services on campus
  • making referrals where necessary

GSO also promotes internationalization of campus life and cross-cultural communication through different activities, such as the Non-local Peer Guides (NLPG) and International Friends Club (IFC), both aim to help international/non-local students adjust better to their university life in Hong Kong and to integrate staff and students from different countries and cultures.

We are also pleased to let you know that School of Law have reserved a limited number of female single rooms in an off-campus accommodation called the Bibliothéque. Students may contact Ms Agnes Kwok at (852)3442 7885 / agnes.kwok2@cityu.edu.hk if you are interested in renting a room there.

The rent is HK$5,500 per month. Interested students need to commit to rent for 3 months or above, and commence as soon as possible.
