Raymond joined the CityU since 1985 when the University was in its early days. He is the Programme Leader of MSW (RSW). His teaching are mainly in Social Welfare Policies, Social Work Theories and Practice and Fieldwork. His research interests are mainly with programme evaluation, social gerontology, social security and social development in Asia. He is also the Vice-President of the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology since 1992.
