Join CityU Delegation – Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2019
Dear CityU Runners (2018),
City University of Hong Kong will once again organize a delegation to participate in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2019 to be held on 17 February 2019 with the objectives of promoting CityU as a healthy university and strengthening unity among the CityU community. The Delegation will include all staff & their dependants, students, and alumni and their dependants. We are honored to have our President, Professor Way KUO, to serve as Head of the CityU Delegation and lead our participants in the run.
CityU had successfully recruited around 1200 delegate members for the Marathon in 2018 and we aim to form a bigger delegation for the 2019 race. (CityU was one of the top Six “Most Supportive Groups” in 2018.) If you are interested in joining the CityU Delegation, you must first successfully enrolled and confirmed payment to the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon (SCHKM) 2019.
The updated information and application details has been officially announced by HKAAA, the Organizer. Same as last year, the registration will be in a ballot format. Please register online during the registration period from 12 Sep (Wed) 10:00am to 29 Sep (Sat) 7:00pm. The public ballot result will be announced after 10:00am on 15 Oct (Mon). After payment to the SCHKM Organizer, you could submit your enrollment form for joining the CityU Delegation either through online enrollment or by fax/email or in person to the Physical Education Section at the Unit B, 6/F, Block 1, To Yuen Building, CityU, from 21 September (2:00pm) to 31 October 2018.
