Student Registration
  • Student rate is applicable to current full-time or part-time undergraduates and postgraduates with valid proof for their student status.
  • A copy of the student ID card showing the name and the study period or a proof letter of the student status issued by the Department/University of the student should be sent to com@cityu.edu.hk immediately after online registration. Otherwise, regular registration fee will be applied. Please indicate your Order Reference Number in the subject of your email.
Cancellation Policy
  • All cancellations must be justified in writing to the organizer by email. To cancel your registration and receive a refund, a written request stating your full name, registered email address and Order Reference Number must be sent to Department of Media and Communication, CityU at com@cityu.edu.hk
  • All refunds will be issued within 30 working days after the conference.
  • The amount of refund depending on the cancellation date is as follows:

On or before 31 October, 2014 A deduction of HK$200 administration fee
1-24 November, 2014 A deduction of 50% of the paid registration fee
After 24 November, 2014 No refund


Use of Information
Personal data provided as part of the registration will be used solely for the purpose of the conference, and in this connection, the data will be handled by Department of Media and Communication, CityU.
 
Registration documents of the participants will be destroyed within 3 months after the conference has been completed. Personal data will be kept strictly confidential and handled by the Organizers only. For the privacy policy statement of City University of Hong Kong, please refer to here.

Terms and Conditions

Any regular conference fee (online/offine) must be settled by 24 November 2014 (HKT). Please note that the registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment in full. The Organizing Committee of CeDEM Asia 2014 reserves the right to refuse admission if payment is not received by the aforementioned deadlines.

Participants will receive a confirmation email upon completed payment. If you do not receive anything, please send an email to com@cityu.edu.hk to notify the Organizing Committee.

Places at the conference are limited and subject to availability. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept/reject registration.

The Organizing Committee of CeDem Asia 2014 reserves the right to make changes to the venue or any of the details published.
