This course provides students with an interdisciplinary introduction to the study of ethics by showing interaction between ethics and other disciplines or professional knowledge. This course aims to enrich students’ knowledge on ethical theories which help to evaluate moral issues encountered in different professions, and to enhance understanding on the impacts of technological advancement and knowledge of other disciplines to ethics as a branch of philosophy.

Activities include lectures, class discussions, presentations, quiz and essay writing. In lecture, students are invited to experience how ethics and other disciplines or professions can interact and influence one another. Class discussion and presentation, quiz and essay writing provide students with the opportunity to learn in an active and engaging manner.
