This course aims to develop students’ interest and knowledge in selected policy areas highlighted in the HKSAR Government’s annual Policy Address and Policy Agenda. Comparisons will be made with other governments as appropriate. The course enables students to acquire multi-disciplinary approaches in making policy recommendations and to develop their critical skills which they can apply as life-long learning tools in their University studies as well as their future careers.
Students will be required to make a group presentation, play the role of different stakeholders, create a web discussion, write an individual policy paper, and do a mid-term quiz.
