The department would like to welcome Prof. Katharina Stärk who is visiting us for two weeks to teach some sessions in the 'Introduction to Food Safety' and 'Introduction to Zoonoses' courses in the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine programme.
Katharina is the Head of the Department of Animal Health at the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office in Switzerland, and also an Adjunct Professor in the Centre for Applied One Health Research and Policy Advice (OHRP). Her research interests include food safety risk management, surveillance and veterinary public health policy.
