Michael Gibb

A new staff development series, {ENGAGE \ CONNECT} Lectures on Peer Review of Teaching and Faculty Mentoring, was held on 17-19 May at City University of Hong Kong (CityU).

Five world-renowned academics and specialists in the field from Australia and the UK, invited for the first time in Hong Kong by the Office of Education Development and General Education (EDGE), discussed a compulsory Peer Review of Teaching mechanism that will be introduced at CityU; policies, resources, and processes for recognising and rewarding excellent teaching; and practical ways of developing undergraduate students’ research literacy and research-based learning in the undergraduate curriculum.
