Get set, go! Marathon effort by huge CityU team

An 874-strong CityU delegation comprised of students, alumni, staff and their dependants, was led by University President Professor Way Kuo in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on 28 February.

Professor Kuo again took part to complete the 10km race amidst the high humidity. His leadership bolstered the morale of the CityU team and helped motivate other CityU runners.

CityU’s team grew markedly this year, both in terms of the number of runners and the support team. The record-sized field took part in the full marathon, half marathon and 10km events.
