Practicum
Students who major in Social Work have to undergo practicum (two for Normative 4-year Degree and Advanced Standing I, and one for Advanced Standing II), which is a credit-bearing course that allows one to gain real-life and practice experience as a social work placement student in social work agencies.

Below are some sharing of our students about their experiences in different placement settings, namely,
(1) Community Development, (2) Family and Child Welfare Services, (3) Medical Social Services, (4) Rehabilitation Services, (5) Services for Youth People, (6) Services for Ex-offenders/ Drug-abusers, (7) Services for the Elderly. The learning within had also stimulated their reflections towards both personal and professional development as a social worker.
