With a burning desire to contribute to the world of media, I embarked on a transformative journey that would shape my future with the assistance of the renowned Hong Kong TPg Fellowship Scheme.  With determination and perseverance, I carefully crafted their personal statement and diligently prepared for the interview, aligning their strengths with the demands of the Communication and New Media field.

Securing the fellowship not only opened doors to advanced education but also alleviated financial pressures.  The fellowship program granted me the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of Communication and New Media for a year, exposing me to cutting-edge knowledge and skills that will underpin my career growth.

For example, with the support of the fellowship program, I was able to complete a practical
shooting project in the form of a group and with the group members during this year’s course. During the study of digital visual media stream, we went to Shantou, Guangdong to photograph the local traditional culture.  From planning topic selection, shooting, and editing are all done by us together.  The final video also became part of my portfolio, helping me showcase my abilities in job
interviews.

During the program, I acquired practical skills such as video shooting and editing, enhancing my ability to translate theory into practice.  Moreover, delving into the trends and transformations of New Media equipped me with insights that will keep me adaptable in this dynamic industry.

These acquired skills have positioned me favorably for entry into the media field.  Confidently
taking on tasks involving video production and communication strategies, I offer valuable services to potential employers.  The critical thinking and innovation nurtured through my study enable me to stand out amidst fierce competition in the ever-evolving media landscape.

In conclusion, the TPg Fellowship not only unearthed my potential but also provided the gateway for further studies in Communication and New Media.  The knowledge and skills gained during the program pave the way for a successful career in the field, enabling me to make contributions to the world of media.
