Five students win two top awards at the 2023 China Daily Campus News Awards competition

Two groups of students in the Department of Media and Communication won three awards at China Daily’s 2023 Campus News Awards competition.

This competition drew more than 3000 entries from 80 universities in Greater China. MACNM students JIANG Yanghuan, QIU Hanxiao, LUO Ziming, XIA Yusi and LI Zhongyin were the producers of the two short documentaries.



“Stars of Ocean” won the Champion of Best Feature Video in the Chinese group.

Students from the Department of Media and Communication have participated in the competition over the past eight years.  They won awards each time.  In 2017 and 2022, they swept the top awards in both the Chinese and English groups.
