March Your Way to Wellness


Exercising and leisure activities are essential to our well-being and can bring us great enjoyment. Student Development Services organises the “Wellness March” campaign every year in order to promote physical and mental wellness of the CityU community. From February through April, the programme offered more than 40 activities of the following categories:

- Outdoor Pursuits
- Exhibitions
- Healthy Lifestyle Survey
- Physical Activities
- Workshops
- Theatre
- Health and Fitness Assessment
- Talks on Health
- Competitions




More than 1000 runners participated in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2017.
 

Alvin Lee Kai-hin (right), a Year 2 student majoring in Economics, is a participant of the “Wing Chun” Kungfu classes, “The trainer taught me very practical self-defence tactics. I am impressed by the essence of Chinese martial art and decided to continue to learn ‘Wing Chun’ Kung Fu.”

Ma Chung-yan, a Year 4 student majoring in Business Analysis, is the winner of the women’s single event of the tournament, “Exercise makes you happy! Students should join the games to ease stress caused by busy schoolwork.” says Chung-yan.
