Elite 100 Programme (E-100)
2014-2015

General Information of the Programme

Medium of Instruction: English/Cantonese

Duration:

  • for 3rd-year students: approximately 1 year (commenced in Nov 2014;
  • for final-year students: approximately 7 months (from Nov 2014 – June 2015)

Target Participants: Third- and Final-year Full-time Students (GPA: 3.0 or above)

No of Participants: 100

 

Background

To raise the employment profile of CityU graduates in the domestic labour market, specific attention and resources will be dedicated to groom a group of finely chosen students for embarking on a bright career in top-notch international corporations upon graduation.

This highly selected group would be coached so that apart from outstanding academic results, they will also be equipped with excellent skills in job seeking in order to stand out from the crowds in the rigorous recruitment and screening processes of most reputable corporations.


Aims of Programme

The E-100 programme aims to provide special training and intensive career enhancement courses for students to achieve the following objectives:

  • to meet the demanding entry requirements of major employers
  • to equip students with necessary skills to thrive and surpass in recruitment campaigns


Programme Activities

The E-100 programme will provide highly acclaimed and intensive training workshops to prepare students with essential skills of enhancing employability. The activities may incorporate:

  • Personality Assessment and Occupational Interest Profiling
  • Special and Intensive Career Enhancement Training Workshops and Seminars
  • Simulated Interviews
  • Experience Sharing Sessions Given by High-Profile Speakers
