Understanding and Helping University Students with Depression

Understanding and Helping University Students with Depression

Prof. Daniel Wong , a clinical psychologist and a mental health social work academic at the University of Hong Kong, will conduct a workshop on “Understanding and helping university students with depression” for the university staff. The workshop aims to provide audience with an overview of the symptoms of university students with depression, and the ways to help them better manage their problems. All staff from different universities are welcome to join. Details can be found in the attached poster.

This workshop is organized by JUMP (Joint University Mental-Wellness Project). The project is co-organized by HKU, CUHK, HKBU, CityU, and EduHK. It is an inter-institutional project that integrates the framework of positive psychology and experiential learning, aiming at enhancing the well-being of university students and promoting a positive culture in the university setting and beyond.
